Torquay is known as the ‘The English Riviera’, famous for its beaches, palm trees and warm climate. In September 2007 the English Riviera received international UNESCO recognition for its rich geological, historical and cultural heritage and was welcomed into both the European and Global Geopark Networks.
Torquay has more attractions than any other seaside town in the UK, numerous exciting events throughout the year and plenty of opportunities for sports, particularly water sports.
One time of my life - really enjoyed learning and refreshing my English at TIS and at my lovely homestay. There is a lot to explore arround Torquay. I would like to come back.

I'd recommend TIS to everyone. I've had a 5-star course.
What i liked most? Classes, atmosphere and facilities
The school is big and equiped for every necessity. People are kind and available for you. I appreciate the idea of the bracelet with the emergency number of the school on it. I absolutely recommend the school and the lessons, and I hope to be back soon!
The lessons were very intensive and lively, and the school was well organised and professional. I'll come back again...

I had a whale of a time at TIS. The school is perfecty organised and each person is very friendly and welcoming. They really take care of my learning needs. Classes were interesting and I feel I have improved my English. It was very easy to make friends because of the social program. And finally Torquay is a beautiful town where you can experience a lot.
