GARDENS OF ENGLAND

The gardens of England are famous for their eclectic, all-encompassing approach. This is probably because English gardeners have always looked outward, eager to absorb influences from abroad.

Within the English gardening tradition, therefore, are styles from as close as France and as far away as Japan. All accommodated into the English climate and sensibility.

On this course, you sample many different styles and approaches, from the small cottagegarden to the huge, formal landscape settings of manor houses.

Study and learn with fellow garden-lovers, while savouring the beauty and tranquility of some of the best of England’s gardens.
